The recent release of Cotton Wine’s new EP has made a new chapter for Americana music. Songs like “Murder Song” and “Bloody Mary” are hauntingly beautiful. Brandon James & Femke Weidema are apt to make the Civil Wars want to run for cover. What they do with 6 songs makes us wish for a full-length album soon.
