            In the world of pop punk, the Hissyfits are not unknown. Their recently completed CD, Letters from Frank, is a testament to that. The New York-based Hissyfits have a hard-driving edge and their CDs have an element missing from big-label music, i.e. fun. The Hissyfits are not a band to ask “Where are they going?” They are a band to ask, “Where will you be next?” In a time of corporate pop manufactured for the masses, The Hissyfits are a return to punk’s best days.
