Artist of the Month – June 2001

Rachel and Andy – Rachel and Andy are not the typical duo most would imagine. Originally playing as a cover band in Athens, GA, Rachel and Andy took off like a rocket when they moved to Denver. It is easy to see why. They are moving from being a folk duo to a rock band that Chrissie Hynde would be proud of. Making that crossover is tough sometimes, but for Rachel Simring & Andy Ard, it is as natural as their stage presence. They do have an album with their acoustic duo work including songs such as “The Doctor and the Mrs.,” and “What Was That Song?” They also just completed a new demo.
